Categories and Fees

Professional

Individuals who have completed graduate level educational training in art therapy. Professional members may vote, hold office, and serve on committees. Dues are $35.00 per year.

Associate

Individuals interested in the therapeutic use of art that supports the mission of IATA. This category is not open to master’s level art therapy program graduates. Associate members may not vote, hold office or serve on committees. Dues are $30.00 per year.

Student

Individuals who are presently enrolled in graduate level studies of art therapy. A copy of current student I.D. is required. Student members may not vote or hold office, but may serve on committees. Dues are $25.00 per year. Reduced rates are available by participating in the Student Incentive Program.  Student Incentive Program dues are $30.00 for two years, available only unitl Nov. 1st of the year offered by an IATA representative.

Fellowship

IATA has developed a Fellowship Program for professional art therapists who are experiencing financial hardship. IATA will waive the annual membership dues of qualified applicants in exchange for one year commitment to assist in association actives. This program is not available to students. Contact the Membership Director for more information.
